Now that we are on the cusp of onboarding two new hires in the Revenue-Customer team, my thoughts are turning to what we need to do to keep our NY customers happy!
CPC is important for GGRF. Understanding their thinking on CFHF is the only real insight into how GGRF might be rolled out
Related is a big opportunity. As Marc always says, the RE folks all call each other.
321 Go! is probably the most important learning opportunity as far as the bid/contract offering goes. Plus a whole chunk of the NYC affordable industry is depending on us.
That’s not to say that pushing forward on preparing for GGRF is unimportant, but we have no choice but to walk and chew gum!
Current subscription ACV: $425.3k
2024 ARR: $152k
Outstanding invoices as of today: $201k
Generally speaking, our financial picture is that we are right on track, but don’t have much more wiggle room without more revenue, so we’ll need to try to manage to the current budget.
Next significant bit of revenue is going to come from transactions, which is very exciting. We should be getting our first CPC transaction revenue soon, and then from the IDIQ program.
Without accounting for IDIQ revenue, our runway is 17 months at the moment.
Brownbag! That was fun. Thanks Luke, for hosting a lively discussion.
Unified add buildings is live! Yay! It’s our first real externally visible sign that we’re going national!
Made offers to, and got acceptance from, Kate Jones and Martine Lunis. Both will join us starting Monday May 6, Jason is Martine’s onboarding sponsor and Erika is Kate’s. For this search, we got a lot done in a short time with really outstanding results. Hopefully we can continue to cultivate the finalist candidates for future openings. I think one of the strongest testaments to the cohesion of this team is the fact that with such a strong candidate list with varied backgrounds, the hiring committee had 100% overlap in each person’s selection of the top 3 candidates. I won’t take it for granted, but boy that was something!
Investors are starting to ping us. Fundraising was a slog and a trial last year, but just in the past two weeks, I’ve had a couple of investors proactively reach out to get updates! Over the next few weeks, I’ll be working on how we’ll decide whether to start raising in Sept or early next year. A lot depends on timing of GGRF.
Carrying over from last week:
Dev pipeline: I have the impression that we’re working hard, but we still have some gaps in process that need figuring out!
Renewals: Unchanged: we don’t yet have a system for making sure these get timely follow-up…the next one comes up in May, but it’s one that we may let churn because it’s so hard to collect from RY.
Metrics: Good start on the Jupyter notebook! Still gotta kick all the way to the wall (per my middle school swim coach, i.e. don’t stop kicking because you’re close to the end)!
Big product picture: Marc, François, and I are getting on the same page. Our ambitions are only growing!
Don’t be a series of small businesses: Marc and I are shopping for some founder coaching to make sure we’re staying on a venture-scale path.
It’s the week of Earth Day!
321 Go! promo video will be distributed by HPD and KC3
Getting Prisca launched on website redesign (Erika)
Generic Project will hopefully have some demo-ables(?)
Two investor catch-ups so far and a third to be scheduled
And here’s what’s on my radar screen - what am I forgetting?
